Shamrock in circle

Behind every badge is a person, a relationship, and a family carrying sacrifices that often go unseen.

Paula brings these realities into the light, reminding those who serve, and those who stand beside them, that they deserve to feel seen, supported, and deeply connected.

MEET PAULA

A Voice of Experience. A Message of Hope.

Born just outside Belfast, Northern Ireland, Paula Doherty-Whitman immigrated to the United States at eleven years old amid the violence of “The Troubles.” At twenty-one, she faced another life-altering challenge when she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and given a bleak prognosis.

Now more than 43 years cancer-free, her life reflects the resilience, faith, and hope she shares from the stage. Drawing from her personal journey, twenty-year nursing career, and decades of marriage and family life, Paula brings warmth, honesty, and deeply relatable insight to every room.

She creates space for the conversations people often avoid, helping audiences move from feeling isolated or overlooked to feeling seen, understood, and empowered to strengthen the relationships and lives they value most.
